For the past couple hours I have been looking for good podcasts on certain subjects and found several worth noting. I started searching for podcasts on English grammar and focused on The Word Nerds. Though I don’t really like the way they use the word “nerds,” no pun intended, in their title, this podcast really sticks out as excellent in regards to the English language in general.
Tonight I was also looking for a good podcast on the subject of audio engineering and stumbled upon Bruce Williams at Audio2U. With years of experience in the field, he seems well qualified to teach on the subject of audio engineering.
And lastly I wanted to find a good podcast that teaches Spanish and settled with Notes in Spanish. (I am of course interested in the “Inspired Beginners Spanish Podcast,” found there, for obvious reasons.)
So, those are the three main podcasts I would like to leave with you tonight. I think podcasting is an excellent way to help “immerse” yourself in any subject you are interested in. Go ahead and take a gander through the Internet and see if you can’t find a podcast on a subject you would like to learn more about. You might actually be delightfully surprised by what you find.
